26 Dead Cats Found In Newport Home

26 dead cats were discovered in the freezer after the RISPCA and Newport police executed a search warrant on a home at 103 Kay Street Wednesday. Authorities also rescued 18 other cats who were living in deplorable conditions.

All of the living cats were transported to the RISPCA and the Potter League for Animals.

RISPCA says criminal charges will be filed, but they’re releasing any suspect info at this time.
