UPDATE: Stella is in the Animal Hospital after being hit on Bellevue Avenue

Yesterday we brought you news of Stella, the Yorkie who was missing after slipping her collar on Thames Street.

Well today we have an update…

Unfortunately Stella was struck by a minivan on Bellevue Avenue early Friday morning and is currently receiving treatment and being evaluated for her injuries at the animal hospital in East Greenwich.

Michelle Bourque is the local hero who selflessly went to Stella’s aide after she was struck.
