via Atlantic White Shark Conservancy
Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, working with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, tagged 4 white sharks off Chatham today (2 off Monomoy, 1 off the south cut, 1 just north of the north cut). This was a record tagging day, bringing the total this season to 13.
This is becoming more and more commonplace that this will soon stop being a story. I mean, how about earlier in August when they spotted between 17 & 19 great whites in one day? That’s a lot of great white sharks when lose count of them!
