On August 8th, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy research team witnessed a predation off Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge. Shortly after, the white shark carried the remains of the grey seal past Atlantic White Shark Conservancy‘s research vessel. Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries(MA DMF) got underwater GoPro footage of the shark. The shark was later ID’d by John Chisholm of the MA DMF as an 11ft female first seen last year. Best way to describe the footage…Badass!
