The Newport Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of men who may have jumped a 29 year-old Newport man on October 28th on Simmons Street in the 5th Ward.
The male victim, who was walking with a female friend, was randomly attacked shortly after midnight and sent to Newport Hospital to treat his injuries. The female was not harmed.
