Hugh Hefner, Hero to All & American Icon, Dead at 91

Hugh Hefner (April 9, 1926 – September 27, 2017) the American magazine publisher, editor, businessman, and playboy has passed away at age 91

Mr. Hefner was editor-in-chief and publisher of Playboy magazine, which he founded in 1953. He was also the founder and chief creative officer of Playboy Enterprises, the publishing group that operates the magazine. Hefner, a millionaire, was also a political activist and philanthropist in several causes and public issues.

Hefner founded the magazine with $600 and another $1,000 borrowed from his mother. The first centerfold, an iconic feature of the monthly magazine, was of Marilyn Monroe.

And every single one of you read his magazine “for the articles” and if you lie about this simple fact, you’re going to a place, when you pass, that Mr. Hefner still controls the door, tell the truth.

RIP to an American Icon!

PS – teenage Christian greatly thanks Mr. Hefner for these!
