“I Got In” – Down Syndrome Student’s College Acceptance Video Goes Viral

via WPTZ – It’s about that time when students around the country wait feverishly for their college acceptance letter to arrive.

Rachel Grace is one of the students. Initially, Grace, who has down syndrome, told WTXF that she was going to apply to a special needs school. But she changed her mind and decided to apply to a college away from home to get the full college experience.

Turns out Grace got her wish and will be attending East Stroudsburg University in the fall. Grace’s mom recorded the heartwarming moment when she realized her fate yelling, “I got in. I’m going to college.”

The video went viral and caught the attention of her future alma mater. ESU shared the video on their Facebook page and captioned it, “Welcome to ESU Rachel Grace! We are lucky to call you a Warrior!”

For the last few years videos just like this have gone crazy viral and they are absolutely the best the internet has to offer. Watching the joy on Rachel’s face, who has undoubtedly faced incredible challenges her entire life, just makes life worth living and if you don’t think so, then you might want to check your pulse because you’re most likely dead!

Congrats, Rachel. Best of luck!

PS – Is it getting dusty in here or is it just me?
