Innovate Newport has announced the appointment of Todd LaChance as the organization’s new Community Manager.
A Newport resident, Mr. LaChance brings over 20 years of experience as a project manager, operations lead and business consultant to large and small organizations spanning across both the private and public sectors.
As Community Manager, LaChance will be charged with making Innovate Newport the best possible experience for its members, anchor tenants and visitors.
“I am honored to have been chosen for the position and I couldn’t be more excited to take the lead in shaping its future roadmap while bearing witness to the many successes of the organization’s members and anchor tenants along the way,” LaChance said. “I have had a passion for the entrepreneurial spirit from a very early age, know firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face and have been fortunate to acquire the necessary tools and knowledge required to help other entrepreneurs find success in their endeavors.”
In addition to running the day-to-day operations, LaChance will also be responsible for maximizing occupancy, maintaining an exceptional and dynamic work environment, and planning engaging member events designed to spark connectivity and collaboration within Newport’s burgeoning innovation economy.
