This year the Audrain Automobile Museum presents, A Victorian Masquerade, to be held at The Breakers, once home to Cornelius Vanderbilt II and known as the crown jewel of Newport’s “Summer Cottages.”
The Audrain Automobile Museum is delighted to announce that David B. Ford will again chair the event for a fourth consecutive year. Joining David will be renowned comedian, car enthusiast, television host, and Audrain’s Newport Concours & Motor Week Event Chair, Jay Leno, along with noted writer, historian and appraiser Donald Osborne, a frequent guest on Jay Leno’s Garage. This magical evening will be emceed by television personality John O’Hurley, known for his role as “J. Peterman” on the television show Seinfeld.
The Gala will take place on Saturday, October 5th at 7:00 P.M., on the eve of their Concours d’Elegance, and promises to be a whimsical night of mystery and intrigue with an all-star lineup. Guests will enjoy cocktails on The Breaker’s Loggia, along with Victorian themed shows and trickery, a tented dinner on the Terrace, as well as dancing, dessert, a private concert and many other wonderful surprises.
The all-inclusive ticket includes dinner and a comedic performance by Jay Leno and Donald Osborne. After dinner and the show, they invite guests inside The Breakers for an intimate performance by Grammy Award-Winning Artist, Kenny Loggins. This will be a night you will never forget.
