After years and years as Newport’s premiere beach front meat market, the ABC is sadly closing its doors to the general public. So stop on by and toss one back for old times sake. (steroids, gold chains and bikini’s with high heels encouraged)
6 – Wag Nation Rose Island Labor Day Weekend Romp (Sunday 1pm)
Bring the dogs and bid adieu to Summer as Wag Nation returns to Rose Island for a special Labor Day Weekend Romp!
Sunday, September 6th at 1pm
This is your chance to spend a beautiful summer afternoon on the island all while supporting the lighthouse.
Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic. Your ticket cost covers boat transportation and all the fixings for s’mores by the campfire.

7 – East Greenwich Art Festival (Saturday & Sunday 10am – 5pm)
East Greenwich will host the fifth annual East Greenwich Art Festival on September 5th and 6th from 10am to 5pm at the new NE Tech campus located on Division Road in East Greenwich. The art festival will feature contemporary American art and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment including Rhode Island’s Big Nazo. The festival will feature items big and small including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture.
8 – J. Geils Band at India Point Park (Saturday 5pm)

9 – Pawtucket Arts Festival (all weekend – see schedule)
The Pawtucket Arts Festival celebrates creative and cultural life in the City of Pawtucket,Rhode Island, by presenting vibrant arts events during the month of September for resident audiences and for visitors to the City and the Blackstone River Valley.
