An employee at WJAR NBC 10 in Providence has tested positive for COVID-19 according to an internal company memo. The memo, which I received from a trusted source, was sent by Vic Vetters, Vice President & General Manager at WJAR-TV.
The unnamed employee was last on duty on Sunday, March 22nd and is now under quarantine.
NBC 10 employees were instructed to maintain social distancing and to frequently wash their hands.
A message left with the Channel 10 Newsroom Monday afternoon has yet to be returned.
