Its Jurassic Giants exhibit isn’t the only new addition! The 2019 RI SNAP program, effective to Dec. 31, lets our state’s EBT cardholders (and 3 guests) enjoy Mystic Aquarium for $5 each. Children two and under are free.
“Mystic Aquarium is deeply committed to community,” said its President and CEO, Dr. Stephen M. Coan. “We appreciate this partnership with the State of Rhode Island to provide more equitable access to the wonderful resources of the Aquarium for all residents.”
“We know that visiting the Aquarium has a positive impact on people of every age in terms of learning about conservation and the environment. For kids, especially, a visit to the Aquarium, or better yet several visits, can have a lifelong impact on learning.”
Under the leadership of Director Courtney Hawkins, DHS is always looking for opportunities for its customers to thrive at home, work and in the community.
Interactive and educational fun at the Connecticut aquarium certainly counts!
Indoor and outdoor exhibits feature favorites like beluga whales and African penguins. There are over 300 species of marine mammals, fish, frogs and more.
