Newport Buzz Emergency Broadcasting System: We have a missing cat from Burnside Avenue

Alright folks we have a missing cat on the loose. Dexter has been on the run from Burnside Ave since last night.

So what I’m going to need from everyone on Aquidneck Island is to drop everything you’re doing at this exact moment and hit the streets looking. Our fugitive has been on the run for 18 hours. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of 72 miles but no way this fraidy cat has left the island and reports tell us that Dexter doesn’t have an EZPass . What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse, boathouse, gatehouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at 30 miles miles.

Your fugitive’s name is Dexter. Go get him!

Please call Chelsea at 401-447-5499 with any info.

And GOOO!!!!
