2nd Ward Newport City Councilor Lynn Ceglie has announced her candidacy for reelection
“I am announcing my run for re-election in Newport’s 2nd Ward. I have been a strong advocate working hard to be very responsive to my fellow 2nd Ward residents,” Councilor Ceglie said in a statement released to media.
“Engaging collaboratively with my fellow council members and community leaders, I have worked to improve the quality of life for all Newport residents. Newport needs common sense voices to keep moving our city forward on a myriad of issues including economic development, safety, and infrastructure. I would be honored to earn your vote so I can continue to stand up for the residents of the 2nd Ward for the next two years.”
Councilor Ceglie is the first candidate to announce for the elections in November.
