2015 marks the 24th season of the Newport International Polo Series, featuring teams from around the world & from major US cities playing against USA / Newport. The season is shaping up with an exciting lineup of action-packed polo matches and great special events for fun on and off the field this year, to match the enthusiasm of our supportive fans & recording-setting audiences each year.
Newport Polo, host of the Newport International Polo Series XXIV, is the home of the Westchester Polo Club, America’s first polo club, est. in 1876, and founding member of the United States Polo Association, offering public exhibition matches and polo club member services for grass & arena polo, and polo instruction year-round.

Asado Lamb Roast – 7:30pm – Following USA vs. Ireland match. Authentic Argentine tradition of spit-roasting lamb for hours over hot coals until it is fork-tender, has become a part of international polo culture, $35/members and $40/non-members. Cash bar. Dinners must be paid in advance; limited capacity. Polo match tickets sold separately at the gate.
July 18th – Newport vs. Dallas @ 5pm
July 25th – USA vs. Italy @ 5pm
Asta La Pasta – 7:30pm – Immediately following the USA vs. Italian match, an authentic Italian gourmet buffet combines the popularity of one of our fan’s favorite new teams, and their culinary traditions!
Fatigati’s in Portsmouth is renowned for fresh, homemade pastas, sauces, entrees, salads and all the imaginative combinations that Italian chefs have engineered in the kitchen. Served buffet-style, after the match with the teams. Includes salads, pastas, and entree for $25/person no later than noon on Thursday, July 13. Cash bar. Newport’s polo season will reach its social highlight this summer with Ball Carnaval, the Newport Polo Club’s 15th annual International Polo Charity Ball on Friday, August 7 at Rosecliff
The annual black tie gala will fête guests of honor, the Brazilian Polo Team, with a Carnaval theme to raise awareness of the importance of the conservation of the world’s rain forests and endangered species. Get Tickets
August 8th – USA vs. Brasil @ 5pm
New England Lobster Bake – 7:30pm – Immediately following the USA vs. Brazil match, a fitting conclusion to our gala weekend will be the authentic New England lobster bake by the legendary McGrath Clambake Co. ‘Baked’ field-side, under freshly harvested seaweed, on a bed of hot coals until cooked to perfection, and served under the polo tent, this annual club tradition is tasty and fun! Unique to the New England coastal native Americans, this culinary feast was prepared for the grandest of celebrations and can accommodate more than 100 participants! Dinners must be purchased in advance online by 8/5. $50/person. Cash bar. Polo match tickets sold separately at the gate.

Jamaican Jerk Grill – 7:30pm – Following USA vs. Jamaica polo match Join us for a cultural dining experience with the team after the match as a Jerk Grill Dinner is served up field-side.
Authentic Jamaican jerk chicken, pork, etc. served with an assortment of traditional side dishes. A fun party with the Jamaican team. Cash bar. Fiesta Lollatallulah – 7:30pm – Join the teams for a party and field-side authentic Mexican tacos and burritos by the acclaimed restaurateur, Tallulah on Thames, and musical entertainment after the match at the Twisted Pony Bar, where Margaritas will be the specialty cocktail of the day! Festive attire welcome.
