The Newport Police department have released the ID of the body recovered from the water off of Goat Island last Thursday afternoon.
In a release, Newport Police have identified Andrew Kinzler, 76 years of age of Newport, Rhode Island.
Kinzler’s body was discovered at 12:06pm and recovered through a join effort between the U.S. Coast Guard, Newport Fire and Newport Police.
Foul play is not suspected.
