Paula Poundstone makes her Newport Comedy Series debut this fall. Poundstone, a regular panelist on NPR Radio’s #1 show, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, has starred in several HBO Standup Comedy Specials. She is recognized as one of Comedy Central’s 100 greatest stand-ups of all time. She won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Standup Comic, and in 2010 was one of a select group voted into the Comedy Hall of Fame. You can hear her as Forgetter Paula, in the smash hit Pixar movie, Inside Out. –
