Charles “Chuckie” Watson, age 62, of Newport, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2018. Charles was born May 9, 1956 in Newport, RI to the late Charles A. Watson and the late Mary E. (Braman) Watson. Charles loved being outdoors riding his bike, fishing and being at one of the local beaches. He enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and watching The Patriots in his spare time.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Ann Butler of Newport, RI, his daughter Jessica Ashook of San Diego, CA, his sister Carol McCarron of Detroit, ME and his only grandson Lorenzo James Wadsworth, of San Diego, CA. Besides his Daughters, Sister and Grandson he leaves behind 3 Nephews, 3 Nieces, 5 Great Nephews, 8 Great Nieces, and 1 Great Great Niece. He is predeceased by his sister, Marilyn J (Watson) Perkins and Great Nephew Jon C. McCarron Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 3, 2018 from 4-8pm at The Park Holm Senior Center in Newport, RI.
