Eleanor Dorothy Davis died Feb. 1, 2021 at the age of 102. A native Newporter, the former Eleanor Meierovitz was a graduate of the Rogers High School’s Class of 1936 and a lifelong congregant of Touro Synagogue. Until 2019, she lived on Hall Avenue, Newport in the Coggeshall Elementary school district where she was raised.
