On Saturday, October 5th, you are invited to join for a very special pairing of Newport Craft’s locally-made, award-winning Thomas Tew Rum, and world-renowned Montecristo Cigars. The event will be held at the Hilltop Inn (in the heart of Newport on Kay Street) from 3-5pm.
Newport Craft will provide rum from different stages of aging, and inform guests on flavor profile, tasting notes, and the processes behind what makes Thomas Tew Rum so special, while Montecristo will provide a range of cigars that compliment the specific rums and discuss the various cigar styles, creating a unique and intimate pairing experience.
Plus, there will be a special meet and greet with Chef Ben from Bravo TV’s Below Deck! Did we mention there will be hors d’oeuvres too?
Whether you’re in town for the Audrain Concours d’Elegance weekend, or just a cigar-loving Newporter, this is a perfect way to unwind outdoors on a Saturday afternoon. Your ticket includes the entire experience of rum and cigar pairing, as well as heavy passed appetizers. Must be 21+ to attend. Tickets are limited so be sure to buy yours in advance!
