On Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sail Newport will invite guests onboard their J/22 sailboats for tours of Newport Harbor and Brenton Cove.
The Non-profit organization holds the annual Family Sailing Festival at their sailing center in Fort Adams State Park to share the joy of sailing with guests. All ages are invited. Experienced skippers will helm the boats and no experience is necessary. Lifejackets will be provided and worn at all times. Sailing will be available on a first-come, first-served basis weather permitting.
Fort Adams State Park has plenty of free parking and is also accessible by water taxi and bicycle.
