Climate change is increasingly being seen as a sticking point in the infrastructure negotiations and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) is sounding the alarm saying he is becoming “anxious” about climate legislation after “climate has fallen out of the infrastructure discussion” and that he doesn’t “see the preparatory work for a close Senate climate vote taking place in the administration.”
Senator Whitehouse says he’s still “sensitive” about the Obama administration’s “climate abandonment.”
