Studio Newport wants voters to get to the polls this election day, Tuesday, Nov. 6. To encourage turnout, the studio will give Aquidneck Island voters a $100 gift card to be used towards any session. To redeem, voters must email the studio proof they voted, with a selfie, or bring their “I Voted” sticker to the studio. The studio will arrange a time to pick up the physical gift card.
“Everyone is focused on what is happening at a national level, but we have pressing issues right here in Newport and Aquidneck Island, ranging from our schools to the local economy,” said studio owner Olga Enger. “Local elections typically come down to voter turnout.”
The gift card may be used towards any future session, including headshots and photoshoot parties. It also may be gifted to someone else.
To receive the Studio Newport gift card:
1.) Email Studio Newport a selfie with your “I Voted” sticker, at the polls, or come up with another creative way to show you exercised your democratic right.
2.) Email the proof to olga@studionewportri.com or arrange for a time to bring in your “I Voted” sticker to the studio. Call 401.864.3403 with any questions.
