Suspect Identified In Brutal Assault That Left Newport Man In Coma

The Newport Police Department are searching for Freddie Hicks, 27, for the January 18th Felony assault on Bliss Road that left Kyle Kettner in a coma.

Kyle Kettner was walking home with his girlfriend when he was attacked on Bliss Road off of Broadway on January 18th.

Kyle hit his head on the concrete during the assault and is in a medically induced coma at Rhode Island Hospital.
