A 17-year-old Little Compton boy was stabbed twice in the back early Saturday morning at party at Kingscote mansion on Bellevue Avenue. The teen was stabbed at the party that was attended by as many as 50 teenagers.
The teen was taken to Newport Hospital and then transferred to Hasbro Children’s Hospital where he is now in stable condition
Newport Police have charged a 17-year-old with felony assault for the stabbing, and a 15-year-old was charged with felony assault, vandalism, and disorderly conduct for punching and kicking the victim in the face.
The incident is still under investigation.
