Thames Street Kitchen Will Close Permanently On January 1st

What a terrible offseason we’re seeing in the Newport restaurant scene, another of the greats is closing.

Thames Street Kitchen just announced on their Facebook Page that the’ll be permanently closing on January 1st.

Dearest Customers,

With full hearts and the happiest of tears, we must announce that we have made the tough decision to close Thames Street Kitchen come January 1st. We have outgrown the space and need to put all of our time and efforts towards some exciting new projects we have been working on. It’s been a crazy ride, and we cannot thank you enough for the continued LOVE and support you have shown the four of us these past five years.

With what has been one of our best years yet, we are closing this chapter in our lives and look forward to feeding you all again in the future!

In the meantime, don’t forget to call and make a reservation before we close so we can personally say our goodbyes to everyone!!

And don’t worry Mission NPT grille is still smokin’ HOT and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Cheers! Chad Julia Anna and Tyler

So far this year we’ve lost Yesterday’s, Canfield House, Rhumbline, Atlantic Beach Club and now Thames Street Kitchen.

Lot’s of changes happening here in Newport, RI
