After two straight seasons finishing DFL in the American League East, the Boston Red Sox have secured a spot in the playoffs with a 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Dustin Pedroia hit his fourth career Grand Slam in the 7th to propel the Sox to the win and the playoff birth.
