The Discovery, the British-American romantic science fiction film, directed by Charlie McDowell, starring Jason Segel, Robert Redford, Rooney Mara, Jesse Plemons and Riley Keough premiers on Netflix on Friday, March 31st at 3am Eastern time.
The film, which was shot in Newport, RI in the spring of 2016, explores one year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified, millions around the world have ended their own lives in order to “get there.” A man and woman fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife.
