Theresa Agonia, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Providence Mayor Jorge Alorza, was named the 2015 Miss Rhode Island USA at the Dunking Donuts Center on Sunday, August 30th.
Ms. Agonia, a media communications graduate of Roger Williams University, is a native of Central Falls and speaks English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. She succeeds Anea Garcia, the 2015 champion, who gained a bit of fame with her performance in the Q&A portion of the 2015 Miss USA competition.
