Two men are dead after two shootings Monday night on Ford Farm Road in Tiverton.

WPRI reported that two elderly men are dead after police chased down and shot a suspect after he allegedly shot another man in a cemetery.

No information has been released about the motive for the shooting, nor have the identities of the men involved.

Monday marked a particularly violent and bloody day in Newport County after a Portsmouth man was stabbed eight times just off of Broadway in Newport early Monday morning.
