During her Friday press conference, I asked Governor Raimondo the following question about Rhode Island beaches for Summer 2020.
Governor: “When you make further beach announcements, will state, town and private beaches all have the same rules? Can town beaches impose different restrictions than state beaches such as residents only?”
Raimondo also said she anticipates opening Rhode Island beaches in Phase Two which should be somewhere around Memorial Day.
