Lagunitas is taking over the taps at Norey’s tonight.
Checkout the great great beers they’re bringing to town!
IPA – 6.2% AB
Lagunitas IPA is a perfectly well-rounded, highly drinkable ale. A bit of Caramel Malt barley provides the richness that mellows out the twang of the hops.
Pils – 6% ABV
Lagunitas only Lager, brewed with loads of imported Saaz hops and a bottom-fermenting yeast strain that leaves it light, crisp and easy to slam…yet full of real flavor and all the things you yearn for in a lager.
ScareCity #2 – Rye Cocoa Porter – 10.19% ABV
The 2nd beer in the Lagunitas “ScareCity” series is this red-ish porter, chock-full of rye and cocoa nibs. It’s like eating a big gob of tasty Nutella on a slab of warm, delicious whole grain bread…perfect.
ScareCity #4 – Imperial Wheat Wine – 9.7% ABV
The 4th beer in Lagunitas “ScareCity” series is a cornucopia…it’s big and fruity smooth – banana-y, strawberry-y, & peach-y – and vinous – hot, earthy, & chewy. It’s a freakin’ psycho-smoothie, qu’est-ce que c’est…fafafaFAFAfafafaFAFA.
Citrusinensis –
Lagunitas takes some fresh Sanguinello Blood Oranges, juices ‘em, then concentrated that juice (without heat) and threw it into a wheatier version of our New Dogtown Pale Ale. The end result? A refreshingly hopped pale-ish ale with a huge citrus burst!
Equinox – 8% ABV
A creamy, pale oat ale hopped up with a huge charge of Equinox and Simcoe hops for a piney, eucalyptus, cedar, sprucey, forest blast. Lagunitas first brewed this in 1995…brewed today in a time of change.
The taps will be pouring by 4pm and Michael Tarbox and the Tarbox Ramblers will go on at 9pm.
See you all there!!!
