Riley Keough, the eldest grandchild of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, and Jesse Plemons have both signed on to join Robert Redford, Rooney Mara and Jason Segel on cast of ‘The Discovery’.
The film is set in a world two years after the existence of an afterlife has been scientifically proven, resulting in millions of people taking their own lives, believing that suicide is like pushing a reset button. Segel will play the son of the man responsible for the discovery (Redford). Mara will play a woman whom Segel’s character falls in love with and whose life is tinged by a tragic past. Keough will play an lab intern working with Redford’s character, and Plemons is onboard as the brother of Segel’s character.
The movie will start shooting around Newport, RI early next month.
