A luxury home in Newport has sold for $8.1 million, ranking among the top real estate transactions in the state so far this year.
Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty announced the sale of 10 Ocean Lawn Lane, with the sellers represented by Joseph Costa. The buyers were represented by Kara Malkovich and Marie Samuels of Lila Delman Compass.
According to Multiple Listing Service data, the transaction marks the second-highest sale in Newport in 2026 and the third-highest statewide year to date.
Built in 2017 by Horan Building Company, the stone-and-shingle residence is located in the private Ocean Lawn enclave, formerly part of the historic Firestone Estate. The home features open, light-filled interiors, a chef’s kitchen with Rhino marble and premium appliances, and multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Amenities include a bluestone patio, heated pool, hot tub, home theater, gym and game room. The property also offers a main-level primary suite and seven additional bedrooms.
Set on nearly three acres, the home is located near the Cliff Walk, Bellevue Avenue and downtown Newport, positioning it as a turnkey coastal retreat.
Costa called the sale “an honor,” noting the property reflects the elegance and appeal that continue to drive demand in Newport’s high-end housing market.
