1 – Rogue Island Comedy Fest (Thursday – Sunday – 8pm & 10pm)
Hosted by Doug Key of the smash hit “The Wasted Talent Show”, the Rogue Island Comedy Festival is going to be insane. At least 7-8 comedians on all 8 shows! We highly recommend checking out more than just one! 2 – Paula Poundstone plays the Newport Comedy Series (Friday – 8pm)
Paula Poundstone makes her Newport Comedy Series debut this fall. Poundstone, a regular panelist on NPR Radio’s #1 show, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, has starred in several HBO Standup Comedy Specials. She is recognized as one of Comedy Central’s 100 greatest stand-ups of all time. She won an American Comedy Award for Best Female Standup Comic, and in 2010 was one of a select group voted into the Comedy Hall of Fame. You can hear her as Forgetter Paula, in the smash hit Pixar movie, Inside Out.
3 – One Bellevue’s Five-Course Autumn Pumpkin Harvest Dinner (Friday – 5pm – 10pm) $49

Each and every Saturday night Norey’s plays all of your favorite 80’s music videos. Each week this ends up becoming absolute sing-along dance-a-thon.
8 & 9 – Free Concerts at Brick Market Place (Saturday & Sunday – 1pm -5pm)
The Brick Market Place is a year round destination nestled in the heart of Newport, Rhode Island. Containing over 25 unique shops and eateries, Brick Market Place is a must for visitors and locals alike.
10 – Tour The International Tennis Hall of Fame (everyday)
The museum collection has been completely reinterpreted and the galleries have been redesigned to deliver an entirely new, engaging visitor experience. The intent of the new museum is to draw visitors into the content through interactive exhibits and a cohesive narrative of tennis history as told through the lives and careers of the 243 Hall of Famers who built the sport. More than 1,900 artifacts of tennis history are displayed throughout the exhibit galleries, ranging from Rod Laver’s first Wimbledon trophy to the golden shoes that Serena Williams wore in her first French Open victory.
11 – Newport Residents Tour The Mansions For FREE (everyday in 2015)
The Preservation Society of Newport County invites all Newport residents to visit the Newport Mansions for free all through 2015 as it celebrates its 70th anniversary.
12 – Murder at the Museum (Saturday – 7pm)
It’s 1896 and a few of Newport’s wealthy elite have stayed behind in Newport to avoid a few, unspoken scandals. To keep entertained, Mrs. Astor is hosting Parlor Game nights every Saturday. This week, it’s a murder mystery at the John N.A. Griswold House, and YOU will be part of the action as a character. When someone actually dies, you must search the house for clues and interrogate the suspects. Do you have what it takes to solve the crime?
13 – The Newport Marathon (Sunday – 7:30am)
The Newport Marathon will take place on October 11, 2015 and feature all of the beauty and grandeur the City By The Sea has to offer. The only marathon and half-marathon in Newport, the course is simply astounding: winding ocean-side roads, miles of waterfront views and sweeping vistas of the grand mansions along Bellevue Avenue.
14 – 40th Annual Jamestown Classic (Monday – 8:30am)
The Jamestown classic is the largest bicycle road race in Rhode Island and is the main fundraising event for the Jamestown Rotary Club.
15 – Columbus Day Parade (Monday – 12pm)
The parade kicks off from St. Joseph’s Church (after 11am mass) on Broadway and ends at the Christopher Columbus Monument on Memorial Blvd.
