Gurney’s Newport Launches Stay & Skate Package

Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina is launching a Stay & Skate package in celebration of the opening of the ice-skating rink on November 22.

Guests who book the “Stay & Skate” package will receive access to unlimited skating during their stay, $75 resort credit to utilize on their après skate menu, a complimentary Gurney’s scarf & winter hat, and a late checkout of 2pm based on availability.

Includes skate rentals. Available 11/22/19 through 3/1/20.  Booking link: https://www.gurneysresorts.com/newport/packages/stay-and-skate

This year, the property is partnering with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rhode Island to encourage guests and visitors to “Donate to Skate” by bringing an item of clothing in return for complimentary rental skates.

Furthermore, for some warmth after skating, The Lounge & Firepit hosts an ultimate Après-Skate experience with a seasonal menu offering menu items such as classic cheese fondue, chili cornbread and World’s Best Grilled Cheese & Tomato, and cocktails like Naughty Hot Chocolate, Spiked Cider, Mexican Coffee and a Fig Cosmo. For kids, the Après-Skate menu includes classics like mac n’ cheese, grilled cheese and chicken tenders with fries.

Rink will be open Monday – Thursday from 2pm – 9pm and Friday and Saturday from 10am – 9pm. Over the holidays, the rink will be open from 10am – 9pm.
