If you’re headed to Newport this week over the bridges you’re going to want to give yourself plenty of extra time.
The eastbound inside, high speed lane on the Jamestown- Verrazzano Bridge will be closed 24 hours a day from Monday, October 19th through Sunday, October 25th.
To be honest though, I’m pretty impressed that they’re doing this work in October because this is the kind of project that usually has 4th of July weekend written all over it.
