New boutique style accommodations on East Main Road nearing completion of first phase of construction

The East Island Reserve located at 985 East Main Road is introducing Newport County travelers to a new way to stay! Nearing completion of phase one of construction, the 36 unit boutique style lodging facility is now accepting reservations for 2017. The property will be managed by Vacation Newport, a division of Newport based Landings Real Estate Group, and will offer an unbeatable value for travelers seeking an alternative to traditional hotels.

The property is home to three unique accommodation styles: cottages, suites and the lodge. Each of the 24 two-story cottages, have one bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room with a pull out sofa bed. There are two suites on the property, a one bedroom and a two bedroom, each with a fireplace, full kitchen and living room. The Lodge features 10 studio style rooms, with king sized bed, full bathroom and a kitchenette. Each accommodation features luxurious finishes including: granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, fine linens and bathroom products by Terra Botanics.

In 2017, East Island will unveil a resort style swimming pool, a 1500 square foot event space and a bridal/luxury suite, designed specifically with the needs of brides and grooms in mind or that exceptional occasion weekend getaway.

Landings Real Estate Group purchased the property formally known as the Sandpiper Cottages on August 28th, 2015 and began construction in September of 2015.
