In a much anticipated announcement at an event in San Francisco, Apple introduced the iPhone 7 to the world. The iPhone 7 will ship on September 16th, with pre-orders for the iPhone 7 starting September 9th on the Apple website.
iPhone 7 dramatically improves the most important aspects of the iPhone experience. It introduces advanced new camera systems. The best performance and battery life ever in an iPhone. Immersive stereo speakers. The brightest, most colorful iPhone display. Splash and water resistance.
So what’s new with the Apple iPhone 7?
The iPhone 7 is visually similar to the iPhone 6, but what’s entirely new is the phone’s water resistance feature, which means you can submerse your iPhone 7 in water for up to 30 minutes without worrying about killing it (happened to my iPhone 6 last week after a few seconds), an improved 12MP camera system with image stabilization and an f 1.8 aperture lens, an improved flash that puts out 50% more light, a 7MP front facing selfie camera, stereo speakers with twice the volume of the 6s, and as expected, the iPhone 7 has done away with the headphone jack in favor of wireless AirPods.
The iPhone 7 Plus has a DUAL 12mp camera system.
Also, Apple will finally kill the 16GB storage option, so you’ll be able to buy an iPhone 7 with 32GB, 128GB or even 256GB of internal storage.
The iPhone 7 starts at $649 and the iPhone 7 Plus starts at $749.
