How about the sack on this Hartford weatherman changing the Blizzard’s name from Stella to Eugene?

So if you’ve been paying any attention to the pending armageddon snowstorm about to pummel the Northeast, you’ve seen and heard the meteorologists breathlessly blathering on about Winter Storm Stella..that is unless you live in Connecticut, where one weatherman has decided to go rogue and name this storm Blizzard Eugene!

Apparently Bruce DePrest of WFSB has a pair that drags on the ground because this badass has just decided to thumb his nose at decent society by making this the first trans-blizzard in history!

Umm..hey Bruce, you just can’t change the name of a storm that the Weather Channel just arbitrarily and unilaterally decided to name!

Here’s a live look at Bruce DePrest walking through Hartford!

Hey Bruce, two can play that game. Your move, muchacho!

Winter Storm Buzz

(UPDATE) So we heard from the station an the are cool af! (They got a kick out of the story)

And apparently they are OG’s when it come to naming storms because they’ve been doing it since the early 70’s, long before The Weather Channel was even a twinkle in anyone’s eye!

Live look at a conversation between WFSB and The Weather Channel.
