Drupal Connect announced Friday that it has been awarded the prestigious “Economic Impact” award by Google Inc.
Each year, Google names one company in each state as the recipient of the accolade, and this year, Drupal Connect was the winner in Rhode Island.
John Florez, President and CEO of Drupal Connect, said the company was honored to receive the award.
The award marks Drupal Connect’s second high-profile win this year, after the company was honored in February with the “Competitive Advantage” award by the multibillion-dollar defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. Of the nine contenders selected to receive the 2016 Enterprise Supplier Recognition Award, Drupal Connect was the only staffing agency.
With 2016 revenue topping $7 million, Drupal Connect is a technical services company that offers staffing services, Web design and support, and mobile app development.
Drupal’s projected growth for 2017 is a 50 and 75% increase over 2016.
Headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island, Drupal Connect is a full-service Drupal firm with a nationwide presence offering Drupal development, training and staffing services. The company is engaged in projects worldwide with more than 400 clients, including Sony Music Entertainment, Waste Management Inc., General Electric Co., A&E, the New York Stock Exchange, NBC Universal, Stanford University and the Carter Foundation, in addition to Northrup Grumman Corp.
