Former Red Sox All-Star Right Fielder Dwight Evans, four-time X Games gold medalist Kevin Robinson (K-Rob) and current New England Revolution forward Teal Bunbury will speak at the 3 rd Annual New England Festival of Hope held at Easton’s Beach, Newport, RI, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“This is a particularly poignant year for the Festival,” shared Senior Pastor Paul Hoffman of Evangelical Friends Church (EFC) of Newport. “The 9/11 events were just 15 years ago. That was a turning point for our country and just the beginning of turbulent times internationally. We plan to pay respect to the many losses of 9/11 and try to focus on the incredible hope we have in our country’s future.”
Entertainment for the event will include inspirational speeches, a BMX bike demonstration, live music, and free children’s activities.
