President Joe Biden said he plans to run for reelection in 2024 with Vice President Kamala Harris on the ticket.
“My plan is to run for reelection. That’s my expectation,” Biden told reporters on Thursday during his first news conference as president.
Biden will be 81 years old at that time.

Asked if he thinks his opponent will be former President Donald Trump, Biden replied, “Oh, come on. I don’t even think about- I have no idea,” adding, “I have no idea if there will be a Republican Party, do you?”
