VIDEO – 11-foot great white filmed eating a grey seal 300 yards off Monomoy

Incredible underwater GoPro footage from today’s Atlantic White Shark Conservancy white shark research trip, captured by Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (MA DMF) working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC). This ~11 ft female was seen 300 yards off Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge eating a grey seal.

John Chisholm of the MA DMF has identified the shark as a new female (WS 16-02) now part of the Division’s population study. The research team is just beginning the third year of this five year study. Please support this critical research by donating to AWSC: www.atlanticwhiteshark.org/donate-1
