Facebook Is Finally Making A “Dislike” Button

After years of asking, Mark Zukerberg is giving the people what they want…The ability to be negative with the simple push of a button.

“I think people have asked about the dislike button for many years. Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it.”

“We have an idea that we’re going to be ready to test soon, and depending on how that does, we’ll roll it out more broadly,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said during a townhall Q&A at Facebook’s headquarters on Tuesday.

“Not every moment is a good moment,” he said, “and if you are sharing something that is sad, whether it’s something in current events, like the refugees crisis that touches you or if a family member passed away, then it may not feel comfortable to like that post.”

He added: “It’s important to give people more options than just like.”

No word yet on how much confusion this will cause among the mindless masses.
