GoFundMe set up for Middletown family who lost everything in Tuesday night fire

A Middletown family has lost their home, their pet cat, all of their belongings and their Christmas presents after a fire tore through their home Tuesday night.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help Rob and Nina (Williamson) Peabody and their sons, Colton, a fourth-grader at the Gaudet Learning Academy, and Brayden, a second-grader at Forest Avenue Elementary School.

With Christmas only days away and the loss of all their belongings and pets, let’s come together to bring a little joy and light in the midst of their ordeal.

Kindly share with friends and family and give generously to this amazing family.

The Newport Police department is also coordinating a collection of clothing to provide the family. Any donation that you may be able to provide before this holiday weekend would be greatly appreciated. A collection box has been placed in the front lobby of Newport Police Department.
