The Newport Opera House Theater and Performing Arts Center will honor Ronald Lee Fleming for his contributions to Newport, especially to the Opera House Theater restoration. EAT LOCAL. DRINK LOCAL. Head to Newport Vineyards Saturday mornings from 9am – 1pm for the Aquidneck Growers’ Market. Make your way through the arcade of farmers, purveyors and artisans, and complete your afternoon with a wine tasting, wine by the glass or lunch lunch from the Vineyard Café.

10 – Santa Hustle 5k & Half Marathon (Sunday 7am)
Be a part of one of the largest growing race series as thousands of Santas will hit the streets of Newport, RI at the FIRST EVER Santa Hustle Rhode Island 5k & Half Marathon on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
HALF MARATHON START: 7am
5K START: 7am
Every participant will receive a Santa hat, beard, and NEW FOR 2016 a Lightweight Performance Hoodie, to wear while running. All 5K and Half Marathon Finishers will receive a medal! With outrageous holiday decorations, festive music, and a large after party!
11 – Brunch
Brunch at Tavern on Broadway (10am – 2pm) The price of your entree includes a bloody, a mimosa or the drink of your choice!!!
12 – Afternoon tea with Airlyn Mitchel on the harp at Hotel Viking (Sunday 2pm – 4pm)
13 – New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers (Sunday 4:25pm)
Watch the Pats continue on their world domination tour as they head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers! The TAVERN ON BROADWAY and HOTEL VIKING will both be playing the game with full sound!
