FRIDAY

1 – Newport Flower Show – During the Gilded Age, nearly every aspect of life was elevated to an art form.  Gardens became stages for nature’s most brilliant performances, women’s fashions were created for stylish parades, and houses became museums for a lifetime of treasures.  Join the Preservation Society as they celebrate all that is Gilded!

2 – Half priced Raw Bar (2-6pm) & Friday Night Prime Time at Top of Newport: Hotel Viking (6-9pm) features Chef Barry Correia’s popular mouth-watering slow roasted, sea-salt encrusted prime rib. $27 per person. Live Music with the Travis Colby Band!

3 – Live Reggae with The Copacetics at Tavern on Broadway (Friday 10pm) NO COVER

4 – Sugar at Newport Blues Cafe (Friday 10pm)

SATURDAY

5 – Afternoon tea with Airlyn Mitchel on the harp at Hotel Viking (Saturday 2pm – 4pm)

6 – Atlantic Grills – The BBQ Bastard will throw down yet another epic clandestine grill at the water’s edge. Fest on cascading waves of grilled meats and veggies. Let’s raise a glass to the setting sun and the beginning of summer. (Saturday 5-9:00pm)

Omnivores welcome. Guests should arrive famished to best enjoy this three hour multi-course asado.
