The Block Island Town Council voted unanimously Monday night to recommend, not require, mask use indoors.
The resolution comes on the heels of the RI Department of Health sharing data that shows Rhode Island in now in a “high” Covid transmission rate with 103 new cases per 100,000 people over the past seven days.
