Girls & Boys lacrosse clubs from around the country will converge on Aquidneck Island again for the RI Classic Lacrosse Tournament, in it’s 14th year.
The boys are scheduled to play July 9 and July 10 and the girls July 16 and July 17, 2016.
Lacrosse was first played on Aquidneck Island on August 22, 1878 and is now home of the Rhode Island Lacrosse Classic. The already popular boys tournament will now add girls divisions – rising 4th grade to rising 12th grade.
Divisions for girls and boys lacrosse teams will be by graduation year/rising grade.
More divisions will be added based on registration parameters for the ladies.
There will also me Men’s Divisions who will play July 16-17 for college and post college players.
Teams will play a minimum of four games, guaranteed.
There will be two Certified Officials for all Games, Field Marshals on each field, certified athletic trainers, good food, convenient parking & Men & Women’s Facilities Located on site.
